I plan on moving to a different state in a few months. I've lived in California my whole life, and even though I know this is what I want to do, I'm still worried about the commitment.

My biggest fear is that my work ethic will change. Your story reminded me that it will, but change can go either way. Work is more than "showing up." Work itself has the power to change people/places around you for the better.
