A.I. Writing Bots Replaced Me

“Leveraging A.I. for yourself won’t fast-track you to joining the Matrix”

When I was an angsty schoolboy, essay writing put chills down my spine.

First off, I did everything wrong:

  • I procrastinated
  • When I wrote, I wasn’t focused
  • When I was stuck, I powered through

After writing 250+ articles online, many of which were longer than those essays, I’ve learned:

  • Work expands with the time given to complete it
  • Flow states are a superpower
  • I know to empty my mind before using it

But one thing hasn’t changed since 2017 — with every essay, email, text, Tweet, or blog I’ve written; words still hang off the tip of my tongue.

It’s like my brain knows what it wants to say, but the words never quite formulate.

This is more than needing another word for “good” and using a thesaurus.

I’m talking about transferring a concept in my head and putting it into words people can actually understand.

If you’re a writer, send emails at work, or breathe air, you know what I’m talking about.
